These terms cover your use of Listener Bot ("Listener Bot", "we", "us"): the Discord bot and this website. By adding the bot to a server, using it, or buying Premium, you agree to them.

The service

Listener Bot is a Discord bot that keeps a short replay buffer of voice channels it is in, and saves clips and recordings when people in the call ask for them. The website lets server managers change how the bot behaves and manage a Premium subscription.

Your responsibilities

• Server owners and managers who add the bot are responsible for making sure recording is allowed where their members are, and that members know about it. The bot's notices, nickname indicator and /optout help, but don't replace that responsibility.
• Don't use the bot to record people without their knowledge, to harass anyone, or for anything illegal or against Discord's terms.
• You're responsible for the clips and recordings made in your server and for who you share links with.

Premium

• Premium is sold per Discord server and unlocks the Premium features for everyone in that server. Current prices are on the pricing page.
• It renews automatically each month or year until cancelled. Cancel any time in the dashboard (Premium → Manage billing); it stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices, and any taxes, are shown before you pay.
• Refunds: any payment can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of it. See the refund policy.
• If Premium ends, the server returns to the Free plan. Recordings and clips older than the Free plan's retention are deleted after a 14-day grace period.

Availability

The bot is provided as is. It depends on Discord, including parts of Discord's voice system that are not officially documented for bots, so features can stop working without notice. There is no guarantee of uptime, and clips or recordings can be lost.

Ending

You can remove the bot from your server at any time. We may suspend the bot in servers that break these terms. Data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Premium in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law where you live.
